I thought about that before picking the Cookbook...but either place is
fine with me. Here's my line of thinking...

Development/HomePage states:

This is the Development WikiGroup. It's used by Pm and others to
discuss, test, and evaluate possible new features of PmWiki without
having to set up a separate wiki system and to avoid interfering with
  the existing groups on pmichaud.com.

Cookbook/HomePage:

The PmWiki Cookbook contains recipes and examples for customizing
PmWiki in lots of different ways.

Reading the purpose of each of these groups led me to pick the Cookbook.
The Cookbook group is for customizing, using currently supported
features, and the Development group is for testing/discussing "future"
features. I felt that the tip in question was for use with current
features (i.e. it was an explanation of how to currently extract page
data).

I'm easy though...if the Development group makes more sense, it can
easily be moved. :-)
