Hi

FYI: In a vanilla installation of beta10, I found the following files in 
wiki.d/

[chr at aussie beta]$ ls -la wiki.d/
-rw-rw-r--    1 apache   wiki            0 Feb 13 11:55 .flock
-rw-rw-r--    1 apache   wiki           31 Feb 13 11:54 .htaccess

(funny about .flock though, I thought that was only created when 
an instance of pmwiki is about to write to wiki.d/)
