I've been in your shoes since September 2003.  I'm in India with my laptop, and Internet is very costly.

This program should solve all your problems.  It's free, and very lightweight.  

It lets you d/l pages according to :  depth (how many clicks), domain (stay on one domain), or even by folder (this is what you want for the cookbook).
