Ok... something like this? (What is local/group.php, I don't have it...).

Well. For example the LIANZA ITSIG wiki has a group called Research.

It also has a local/Research.php script that contains the line

  $DefaultTitle = 'Projects';

This causes Research.Projects to be the home page for the Research group.

But the revised FmtWikiLink script doesn't know about it.
